The Tioga County Sportsmen’s Club is offering open shooting on Monday evenings, from 5 to 6 p.m. beginning on Nov. 3 at their indoor range located at 1141 Carmichael Rd. in Owego, N.Y. at their indoor range.
The club provides inexperienced shooters safe gun handling guidelines, tips on improving marksmanship, and just time to relax with no competitive pressure.
There will be a NRA certified rifle and pistol instructor present to conduct range activities.
The club will provide assistance to new shooters on basic shooting skills. Experienced shooters are welcome for casual practice. A $3 dollar fee is charged to cover lights, heat and targets.
Requirements are any handgun rim-fire or center-fire shooting all lead bullets, or any rim-fire rifle that is legal in New York State.
