New change needed for 23rd Congressional District

Dear Editor,

Some voters have a different view on the qualifications to serve in the House of Representatives for the NYS 23CD.
The Democrat candidate for our Congressional District 23, Martha Robertson, has served on the Tompkins County legislature for six terms (12 years). This experience of dealing with the issues of upstate communities has well prepared her to represent our area in the House of Representatives.

During his short time in D.C., two terms, or four years, Republican Tom Reed’s record shows loyalty to his Party.
Martha’s perspective will be both beneficial and refreshingly different in our gerrymandered 23rd Congressional District.
