The Tioga County Legislature announced recently that the Park Settlement Road Bridge in Tioga County is open.
The Park Settlement Bridge over the Owego Creek was closed recently as it was noted that inspection of the bridge had shown steel pile deterioration.
Based on the level of deterioration present, the bridge was closed to vehicular traffic until repairs could be made.
During that time, local traffic was diverted to travel Lord Road then South on Anderson Hill Road to NYS Route 96.
