Friday Night Depot series continues in Newark Valley

The Depot Friday Night series sponsored by the Newark Valley Historical Society continues on Aug. 21 with Rick Pedro. Rick will bring his infectious blend of patriotic standards, ragtime and modern classics, along with his unique stage presence and humor to the Depot. In concert Rick brings the piano alive, thrilling his audiences with fast-melodies, soulful harmonies and animation.

On Aug. 28 the Irish Stoutmen return to the Depot. This quartet plays and sings an exciting mix of powerful rebel songs, toe tapping reels and beautiful Irish ballads. The Stoutmen portray Ireland’s past and presence in vocal harmony and colorful arrangements.

On Sept. 4 the Depot welcomes Greg Neff to the Friday Night series for the first time. Gregg is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist specializing in music of the 60’s and 70’s. You will enjoy Greg’s “laid back “style and his easy to listen to sound.

Admission to the Depot Friday Night programs is free and refreshments are available. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the entertainment will begin at 7 p.m.

This project is made possible, in part with public funds from the NYS Council on the ARTS’ Decentralization Program, administered locally by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
