WARREN TOWNSHIP — Joshua Aaron Quiles, 31, of Apalachin, N.Y., formerly of Warren Township, faces 190 felony charges for allegedly sexually abusing an underage victim over approximately five years, from late 2018 or early 2019 to 2024, beginning when she was 12 or 13 years old.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the now-adult victim said in an interview on Sept. 13, 2025, that Quiles sexually assaulted her approximately four times a week over those five years. She said Quiles frequently told her not to tell anyone.
According to police, the victim told them Quiles constantly called, texted, and left her voicemails. He allegedly asked her to “send him pictures” and sent her sexual videos he took of her. Police said Quiles changed his phone number more than 80 times to continue texting her after being blocked each time.
According to police, the victim also discovered three GPS tracking devices in her vehicle. A search warrant was obtained for the contents of two of them on Nov. 10, 2025. Police allegedly found Quiles to be the subscriber for the tracking devices. He activated them from May 16, 2024, to Sept. 9, 2024, from Feb. 9, 2025, to March 5, 2025, and from Aug. 2, 2024, to Nov. 4, 2024. He paid a monthly bill for the devices from May 16, 2024, to Nov. 23, 2024, police said.
Quiles is charged with 50 counts of rape by threat of forcible compulsion, 30 counts of statutory sexual assault, 10 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, 50 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by threat of forcible compulsion, and 50 counts of sexual assault, all of which are felonies. He is also charged with three counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, four counts of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age, and eight counts of stalking.
As of last Tuesday, Quiles is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
