Letter: Climate Change and the Overwhelming Evidence

Dear Editor,

It is hard to believe that our bone-spur president has directed our attorney general to seek sedition charges against six representatives of the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senators who have honorably served in our military. 

For what? For telling our military that they must obey the law? Will they try again?

I also noted that our president has directed our EPA administrator, Lee Zeldin, to reverse the “endangerment finding.” 

The “endangerment finding” suggests that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare. The recent intensity of extreme heat waves, catastrophic floods, and deadly wildfires is due to the rise of greenhouse gases, a.k.a. climate change. 

Only a fool would ignore the overwhelming evidence.
