The Village of Newark Valley will light up on Dec. 14 as the Northern Tier Chamber presents Holiday Magic at the Village Green, the Tappan Spaulding Library, and in the Noble Room of the Municipal Building. The festival runs from 4 to 8 p.m.
Enjoy delicious food and music in the Noble Room and check out the gingerbread houses entered in the contest. Fill up with some goodies, and do some Christmas shopping in the Holiday Fair while Santa meets with children on the ‘Nice List’. Then head over to the head over to the Tappan Spaulding Memorial Library for their Open House, which includes a free book for kids who visit.
Don your warmest mittens and festive hat and join them in the holiday fun at Newark Valley’s 14th annual event. This is a fun, family event with plenty to do.
While there, guests will also enjoy the colorful and festive trees decorated by local organizations and displayed on the Village Green; or warm yourself by the fire pit as you listen to holiday music provided by carolers from local schools and churches.
