Stray Haven Pet of the Week for the week of November 10, 2019

Stray Haven Pet of the Week

Hey everyone! My name is Lilith, and I am an eight-year-old lab mix. My favorite thing to do here at Stray Haven is play ball. The staff here thinks they’ve trained me, but really I’ve got them trained. As soon as they let me out into the yard, they know to throw my ball for me! After a few throws I like to jump in the pool to cool off if it’s hot out.

I love play, and I love people if they let me warm up to them first. I can be nervous of new things. I spent most of my life in a metal cage with just two other dogs. One of them was my pup. I’m glad she found her home, now it’s my turn! I’m just a little scared, but I am working on trusting new people and allowing them to love me unconditionally. Please approach me with some caution and let me come to you first so I can greet you my way.

Once I decide you are a good human, I am a sweet girl and would really like to be your friend and get some ear scratches. Even though I am eight, I am young at heart. I am dog friendly, but I would really prefer to meet any possible canine roommates just to make sure they are the perfect fit for me. I am good with kids, but I’d want to meet them first too. Cats are a little much for me; I don’t think we play in the same way.

If you would like to learn more about me, stop by Stray Haven and ask about me, I’m sure the staff could tell you all about me! I hope to see you soon!
