Join Tioga Opportunities, Inc. when the Alzheimer’s Association presents “Effective Communication Strategies for Alzheimer’s and Dementia” on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Countryside Community Center located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego; and on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Tioga Opportunities, Inc.’s Nichols location at 139 Roki Blvd. in Nichols.
If you or a loved one is experiencing memory loss or other behavioral changes, come and learn to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language.
