Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the Week for the week of October 20, 2019

Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the Week

Hi to all you cat loving people. I am Lizzy and I would like to find a loving home with good people who love and understand cats because I am complicated.

I came to Maddie’s Meadows about two years ago with my two kittens. They left a long time ago, but I am still here.

I am not a bad kitty or a feral kitty or an aggressive kitty, but I am sensitive. I struggle to trust; therefore I am skittish around people. I do tolerate people petting me when I have determined that they are safe, but I don’t like being carried.

I am very vocal, especially when I want treats. I think treats are about the best thing in the world and they are my only motivator. I will call out to you often in little mews until I get what I want, more treats. I am smart though because if I am told no, I know what that means. I’m not getting any more. Then I will pout.

I coexist with the other cats. I’m not sure about dogs; I’ll have to see about them. If you understand cats really well, maybe you would like to come see me. You can call Nancy at (607) 768-6575 to make an appointment to check me out.

If you would like to donate to help pay the bills, you can send your check to Maddie’s Meadows, P.O. Box 445, Owego, N.Y. 13827. If you would prefer to help all of us kitties by donating food or supplies, you can call the aforementioned number.
