Happy Tails Animal Rescue in Owego is holding a fundraiser Halupki dinner on Wednesday July 24, at the Owego Moose Lodge, located at 3 Goodrich Rd. in Owego, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Women of the Moose are sponsoring the event.
The cost of the dinner is $10 a plate and there are basket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a few silent auction items. Proceeds help to vet the animals rescued and fostered by Gail Ghinger, a Happy Tails volunteer
If you cannot attend the dinner, donation items such as cat and kitten food, paper towels, Clorox wipes, etc., can be dropped off at the Moose, VFW in Owego, and the Johnson City Elks.
Meet and greet adoptable kitties from 5 to 6 p.m. under the pavilion outside.
