The Auxiliary received an award for first place in Division 6 for Legislation, as well as a Legislative achievement award.
A Certificate of Recognition from the National VFW for Veterans and Military Support Programs was given to VFW Auxiliary 1371 Chairman, Dorolyn Perry. UnMet Needs is a program that provides financial aid grants up to $1,500 to assist with basic life needs in the form of a grant, not a loan, so no repayment is required.
