Beginning May 29 through Sept. 21, Town of Owego residents will be able to drop off yard waste at Sewage Treatment Plant 51, located behind Sanmina at 398 Broadway, Owego, N.Y. 13827. Hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
There will be predetermined areas for different materials. What can be dropped off are tree limbs, brush, branches, grass clippings, and leaves can be brought in bags. Bags must be emptied and taken away.
NO garbage of any kind may be left.

My family and I have been doing yard for days now and piling all the yard waste into a trailer to take to this place. Today is Wednesday and it is currently 6:52. My dad and I drive all the way out here when says it is open to realize the gate is locked. Limited hours? They are just never open. Thanks for nothing.
