The Vestal Elk’s Veterans’ Committee invites the public to a special presentation on April 27 by Rick Yarosh, an American Hero and motivational speaker. The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the Vestal Elks Lodge, located at 2071 Vestal Parkway West.
Yarosh is a Retired Army Sergeant that was injured in Iraq on Sept. 1, 2006. His story, although tragic in parts, is not a story of tragedy. It is one of being able to get through anything with a positive attitude. Most importantly, Yarosh can honestly say “he is happier than he has ever been in his entire life.”
The organizers are asking that you bring an item for their “Troop Care Packages”. Refreshments and light fare will be served.
