On Friday, April 19, the 43rd Annual Living Stations of the Cross was presented by youth ministry members of Blessed Trinity / St. Patrick Parish at St. Margaret Mary Church, located at 1110 Pennsylvania Ave. in Apalachin.

With 14 Stations presented, beginning with Jesus being condemned to death (John 19:1-7) and Jesus being placed in the tomb (Philippians 2:6-11), the performance also serves as prayer and an act of love.

The program, which was established by Father Elmer Schmidt at St. Margaret Mary’s Church in 1977, began with performances in March at Hilltop Campus in Johnson City, and concluded with the April 19 performance in Apalachin.

Cast and crew include Ashleigh Allen, Madison Allen, Alina Chicas, Samuel Claypool, Marah Crapser, Olivia Crapser, Rita DeMars, Abigail Durand, Samuel Durand, Allison Fisher, Aydan Kemp, Camryn Kopalek, Ella Kopalek, Kira Krohmalney, Eli Martin, Laura Martin, Peyton Miller, Quinn Miller, Hannah Monell, Madeline Powell, Rachel Raftis, Laura Robertson, Thaddeus Robertson, Jennifer Scott, Allie Shoen, Katie Shoen, Morgan Smith, Stephen Taylor, Michael Wasyln, and Nicholas Wasyln.

Directors were Tim and Andrew Loso; adult advisors were Ken Donovan, Joe Kuratnick, and Julie Durand; Kelly Crapser did the roles and costumes and Carrie and Sarah Martin did the makeup; Matthew Martin and Shawn Crapser were responsible for the lights and sound.
