“Story,” a three-member band consisting of Robert Heinrich, Gordie Gottlieb and Brian Schendel, will perform at Black Cat Gallery on April 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. Pictured, are Robert and Gordie, two of the band’s members. Provided photo.

“Story” plays for the Black Cat on First Friday with the very talented three-member band consisting of Robert Heinrich, Gordie Gottlieb and Brian Schendel, with songs and styles that range from folk, country and blues, to rock and jazz standards. Whatever the musical style, they gravitate toward songs that tell stories of people and stories of life. They create rich instrumental beds for their vocals, blending a wide variety of acoustic stringed instruments including 6-string, 12-string and classical guitars, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, charango, Autoharp, cuatro and others.

Enjoy a fun night out, listen to the music, view new artwork from the artists of the Black Cat Gallery and see what’s in your future.
