Tioga Opportunities, Inc. hosts ‘Aging Sensitivity Training’ in Nichols and Owego

Do you care for an older adult? Do you wish you could better relate to their needs?

Action for Older Persons will be on-site on March 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Tioga Opportunities, Inc.’s new Nichols site located at 139 Roki Blvd., and on Tuesday, April 2, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Countryside Community Center located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego to present “Aging Sensitivity Training.”

This hands-on program will help you become more empathetic and understanding when assisting aging persons. The session will review the five senses and how they change as we age, as well as more effective approaches to working with those who are aging.

This program is free to the public, but registration is required. Call Tioga Opportunities, Inc. at (607) 687-4120, ext. 313 to reserve your spot.
