The Tioga County Boys & Girls Club will be hosting an Open House on March 7. This free event will run from 5 to 7 p.m., and all are invited to attend.
The open house will give the community, including prospective Club members, parents, teachers, donors, supporters, and others a chance to check out the space and learn about the programs, events, and opportunities to get involved at the Club.
Learn about their NYS-licensed school-age childcare program at Owego Elementary, their athletic programs, tournaments and clinics, adult athletic leagues, and daily social programming for youth.
Some of the highlights will include the newly designed Teen Room, revamped Computer Lab, updated reading space and game room, as well as the sharing of plans for small renovations and gymnasium upgrades. The Open House will also feature an opportunity for community members to share their thoughts and ideas about programs and offerings they would like to see at the Club in 2019!
Executive Director Jamie Holliday and Directors for all youth and adult programs will be in attendance to provide program information, answer questions, and talk about ways to get involved as a youth or adult Club member, how to volunteer, and how you can support the club.
Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase to support the Club’s March Madness fundraiser and a chance to win $500. Complimentary desserts will be provided.
