Cornell Cooperative Extension Tioga County (CCE Tioga) is a 501C3 not for profit organization established in 1913. They provide research and experienced-based information and programs to strengthen and support gardening, agriculture, and our local FOOD system; to improve individual and community nutrition, HEALTH and overall well being in a healthy environment; and to provide YOUTH with opportunities to have fun and learn valuable life skills from caring adults.
Their current programs include the following.
Agriculture – They help farmers of all types with business development, production, marketing, and management, as well as educate children and adults about agriculture and the local food system.
4-H Youth Development – They provide opportunities for youth to have fun, learn life skills, and work with caring adults through our 4-H program, as well as Youth Employment.
Family Development – They help parents gain knowledge and build skills for nurturing their children at our Family Resources Centers, as well as various parenting programs.
Eat Smart NY – They teach individuals about better nutrition, food budgeting, and physical activity.
Master Gardener – They educate children and adults about gardening and environmentally friendly practices.
Community Development – They help support leadership development and positive change. They help support the Tioga Nonprofit Network, Tioga Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Tioga County Transportation Committee.

The Tioga County Non-Profit Network (TCNN) is a grassroots effort to bring together leaders from non-profit organizations to address common interests and to better serve the people of Tioga County. TCNN typically meets every other month on the fourth Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m.
