Owego Rotary to host annual Arts and Crafts Fair on November 18

Just in time for the Holiday Season! The Owego Rotary Club is pleased to announce it will host its tenth annual Arts and Crafts Fair on Sunday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Owego Elks Lodge, located at 223 Front St. in Owego, N.Y.

This year they have a wonderful, unique variety of artists and craft persons offering their work for sale. Guests can choose from many different types of jewelry, woodworking, wreaths, textiles, soaps, creams, Alpaca products, cat toys, soy candles, birdhouses, and repurposed vintage furniture and gift items.

They also have a variety of delicious home baked goods, including Finnish and artisan breads and much more in time for Thanksgiving. There will also be baskets being raffled.

This event is free and open to the public. Purchases will help support the international eradication of Polio. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Rotary International PolioPlus Campaign.

Every child deserves the right to walk, run, and play without fear of paralysis. Although Polio is largely unknown in the industrialized nations, it is a disease that still robs children of that right in other parts of the world. The Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) is committed to achieving a polio-free world.
