Veterans Day Ceremony, 11 a.m., VFW Post 1372, Main St., Owego.

Salute to Veterans, 10 a.m., Tioga Center United Methodist Church, 3022 State Route 17C, Tioga Center. Veterans and active service men and women are invited to a worship service followed by a time of fellowship with light refreshments. 

American Legion Sunday Breakfast, 8 to 11:30 a.m., Front Street, Owego. Made to order specials, ages under five are free.

Veterans Day Dinner, 4 p.m., Newark Valley Fire Station, Route 38, Newark Valley. For veterans of all Armed Forces and spouses of deceased veterans from Richford, Berkshire and Newark Valley. 

Veteran’s Day Open House, 2 to 5 p.m., Candor American Legion, 90 Spencer Rd., Candor. For all veterans and their families and community members. A snack buffet will be available. Hosted by the Unit 907 American Legion Auxiliary. 

Roasted Turkey Dinner, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friendship Masonic Lodge, 940 Montrose Turnpike, Owego. The cost is an $8 donation. Eat in or takeout available. To benefit property taxes.
