The Newark Valley Pantry is now taking orders for Holiday Baskets for people living within the 13811 zip code area.
Signup for Thanksgiving boxes are to be placed by Nov. 1 and picked up on Nov. 17. Christmas Boxes are to be ordered by Dec. 1 and picked up on Dec. 22.
Pick up is at the Methodist Church on Main Street. Go to the parking lot and to the Ministry door and go downstairs.
The numbers to call are 642-8176 and 642-8587. There are no pantry hours on Nov. 13, 15, 20 and 22, and Dec. 18, 20, 25 and 27. There is no senior pantry in November and December.
