Owego Police Briefs

Criminal Contempt: On Oct. 22, 2018, Owego Police arrested James S. Richardson, age 34 of Waverly, N.Y. after an investigation of Domestic in July of 2018, on a Warrant of Arrest for Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (Class E Felony). Richardson was arraigned in the Village of Waverly Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.

Sexual Abuse: On Oct. 19, 2018, Owego Police arrested Toteonia L. Roberts, 19 of Owego, N.Y. after an investigation in May of 2018, on a Warrant of Arrest for Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree (B Misdemeanor). Roberts was arraigned in the Town of Newark Valley Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $5,000 cash bail.   

Weapon Possession: During a Warrant of Arrest investigation with the New York State Police on Oct. 17, 2018, Owego Police arrested Kevin A. Stoudt, age 40 of Owego, N.Y. on Criminal Possession of a Weapon Third Degree (D Felony 2 Counts) and Resisting Arrest (A Misdemeanor). Stoudt was issued an appearance ticket on the above charges to appear in Village of Owego Court on a later date. Stoudt was turned over to the Tioga County Jail on the Warrant of Arrest.  

Weapon Possession: During a Warrant of Arrest investigation with the New York State Police on Oct. 17, 2018, Owego Police arrested Morganne T. Poquette, age 22 of Owego, N.Y. on Criminal Possession of a Weapon Forth Degree (A Misdemeanor 2 Counts) and Obstruction of Governmental Administration (A Misdemeanor). Poquette was issued an appearance ticket on the above charges to appear in Village of Owego Court on a later date.

Criminal Mischief: On Oct. 19, 2018, Owego Police arrested Courtney L. Dyer, age 27 of Candor, N.Y. after an investigation of reported damage to a vehicle in Owego. Dyer was arrested for Criminal Mischief Third Degree (Class E Felony). Dyer was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Owego Court at a later date.
