This year, some kids will collect more than candy on Halloween. They’ll help “Give the Gift of Sight” by gathering used eyeglasses while they trick-or-treat in our community.
The Apalachin Lions, along with Apalachin Elementary School, will be collecting glasses through Oct. 31.
