The Tioga County Veterans’ Service Agency and Tioga Downs Casino Resort are sponsoring and hosting the 2nd Annual Veterans Expo at Tioga Downs Casino Event Center in the Grand Ballroom on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Expo is a resource fair that is free to attend for veterans, their family members and care providers. There will be over 30 agencies and organizations present to help, so stop down and learn how your friends and neighbors in Tioga County and surrounding areas can help meet your needs.
Also, if planning to attend the Veterans Expo, Tioga Downs is offering a special lunch price at their buffet for veterans; the price is $6.99 from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. that day. You must show a Military ID, DD214, or veterans benefit card.
Can’t get to the Expo? Call or stop by the Tioga County Veterans’ Service Agency in the DSS building at 1062 State Route 38 in Owego, someone will explain the benefits you’re eligible for on the local, state and federal levels.
