On Wednesday, Oct. 10, members from the Campville Fire Department visited the Owego Elementary School to talk about fire safety, and to highlight the “Close Before You Doze” fire safety campaign, a public education initiative aimed at teaching people an important practice to contain a house fire and enhance safety.
