On Saturday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the annual car and motorcycle show will take place at Tioga Downs Casino Resort, located on River Road in Nichols, N.Y.
The registration fee is $15, and the first 400 registrants will receive a dash plaque. Guests will be allowed to vote for their favorite, with the Top 20 cars, to include Best in Show, awarded. The Top three motorcycles will also be awarded.
Vehicles must be on the field by noon to be judged, and voting concludes at 2 p.m. The trophy presentation will take place at 3:45 p.m.
There will be vendors, food trucks, and entertainment by Project Z. Admission to the show is free for spectators.
“Collector Car Corner” nationally syndicated automotive writer, Greg Zyla, will again be at the show with his Auto Round-Up Magazine and Lucas Oil tent. Greg will have several special cars at his display and give away over $350 worth of special prizes including t-shirts, Lucas Oil and cleaning waxes, a few model cars, and some surprises.
Zyla will be featuring Dave Marek’s special 2006 SSR and Nate George’s spectacular 1959 Chrysler Newport. Everyone at the show will receive a free Auto Round-Up magazine.
Be sure to visit his tent at the car show!

when is the 2019 car show at Tioga Downs
It is usually the third Saturday, but I’m not seeing it on their schedule yet. I will contact Tioga Downs today and see if I can find out the date.
I just talked to them. The car show is September 28, the last Saturday. I will have to spread the word soon. I believe I will have my car there again, too.
