Pictured, is Owego resident Ayden Mott. Ayden recently turned 12 on Aug. 15, and had a party with friends and family to celebrate. This was a different party though, Ayden asked his guests to bring food donations for Tioga County Rural Ministry instead of gifts for himself.
Ayden got the idea after learning how families in the community often need assistance from places like the food pantry to feed their families.
Ayden delivered the donations to Tioga County Rural Ministry on Aug. 20. Ayden hopes to do this again when his family gathers at Christmas time.
