Stray Haven Pet of the Week for Aug. 19, 2018

Stray Haven Pet of the Week

Hi, I’m Hercules, a 7-year-old pit-mix. I like meeting new people and getting treats and cuddles from everyone.

Sometimes I don’t realize how big I am, and I’ll climb right up on your lap for one of those cuddles. I enjoy being around kids. I do best with the older, respectful ones.

I like to be around female dogs, but I don’t always get along with other male dogs. I walk nicely on a leash and I even know how to sit and shake.

Sometimes my arthritis from a previous injury flares, but it doesn’t keep me from running, playing, and having fun.

I can be easily startled by loud noises like fireworks and thunder, so I would like to go to a quieter home. Cars can also startle me as they drive by, but I do love to go for car rides.

If you’d like to learn more about me, contact the Stray Haven team or stop by the shelter.
