My Grandpa’s Hudson

My Grandpa's Hudson

My Grandpa's HudsonSince she was a child, one of Kathy Corse’s fondest memories was riding in her Grandfather’s 1948 Hudson with her siblings and cousins.

“Grandpa made every road trip so much fun,” said Corse.

For years, it has been a desire to use her executive talents in creating a business where others could experience wonderful memories by taking a ride back in time in a Hudson.

Coming to the Triple Cities area in Fall 2017, My Grandpa’s Hudson offers not just transportation, but an experience for every occasion, including a vintage car expert and chauffeur Gary Muehlbauer.

“The Orval Wesley” (named after her Grandfather) is a 1951 Hudson Commodore 8 Sedan. Surviving today and handsomely restored, this “Museum on Wheels” will be an exact replica as to when it rolled off the showroom floor in Detroit, Michigan back in 1951.

One of the safest and most luxurious cars of its time, Corse located this find through Wildrick Restoration in Shelbyville, Indiana. A family who for years has worked on the restoration of Hudson’s worldwide. This particular vehicle had been sitting in a garage untouched for 30 years.

My Grandpa’s Hudson will be taking reservations for over 20 occasions. As a breast cancer survivor, Corse also plans to give weekly rides to medical appointments for women currently going through treatment.
