Want to learn about transportation options available to you as a Tioga County, N.Y. resident or business? Want to share information about your transportation needs or possible solutions?
Andy Fagan, director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County will be making two more presentations on transportation options in Tioga County.
On Wednesday, March 28 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., a presentation will take place at the Newark Valley Municipal Building located at 9 Park St.
On March 29, from noon to 1 p.m., another presentation will take place at Cornell Cooperative Extension’s conference room located at 56 Main St. in Owego.
Through a mobility management grant from the Rural Heath Network of South Central NY, Fagan has been working with the Tioga County Transportation Committee to complete a directory of transportation options.
Tioga County residents are encouraged to attend to learn about transportation options and resources available to Tioga County residents, including the “Getthere” Call Center, “Connection to Care” assistance and new travel innovations underway. In addition, people will also have an opportunity to share transportation needs and suggest transportation solutions.
