On March 18, 2018, at about 9 p.m., the Owego Police Department responded to a report of a woman assaulted on William Street in the Village of Owego.
According to a press release received from the Owego Police Department, the woman reported being struck several times in the face and that her cell phone and oxycodone pills were being stolen.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Nicole M. Morris, age 39 of Owego, for Robbery in the third degree (class D Felony).
Morris was arraigned in the Village of Owego Court and was remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
The Owego ambulance squad treated the victim at the scene.
