RAFT to hold meat-free potluck dinner and film

RAFT (Residents Allied for the Future of Tioga) welcomes the community to a meat-free potluck dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 23; and then a 7 p.m. showing of “Forks Over Knives” at the First Presbyterian Union Church, located at 111 Temple St. in Owego.

The film examines the profound claim that most, if not all of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.

Make a reservation by calling (607) 342-3159 or by email to gerriwiley@yahoo.com so they can set a place for you.

RAFT encourages you to bring your ingredient list along with your dish to pass in order to respect those who may have food sensitivities.
