Meet Nittany! She is a couch potato, driving companion, sunbather and best friend. Nittany is a 4-year-old American English Coonhound.
She loves the dog park or anywhere she can run and play with other dogs. She hasn’t had any experience with cats, so the shelter is not sure how she feels about them just yet.
Nittany knows how to sit and stay, and she knows how to go potty outside. She’s an obedient girl, although she can be a bit stubborn if she wants to be.
Nittany does best with a consistent routine and structure. A home with older, respectful children would be a good fit.
She loves Dingo rawhide sticks and Blue Buffalo treats. Most of all, Nittany would love to be part of a family.
The adoption fee for adult dogs is $160 and includes microchip, up-to-date Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines and spay or neuter at the clinic.
Visit Nittany at Stray Haven Humane Society, located at 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
