The Tioga Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America recently made donations to the Tioga Rural Ministry and the Boys and Girls club of Western Broome.

Sister Mary O’Brien, CSJ, and Rachel Bond, director and assistant director of Tioga Rural Ministry, accepted a check from George Simon, president, Tioga Region, Antique Automobile Club of America.

Tioga Rural Ministry provides spiritual, material, and learning assistance to residents of Tioga County.

The Tioga Region also made a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome. John Mandeville, chief professional officer, said the donation would help fund a new Dectron Unit, which controls the heat and humidity in their building.

Donations made by the Tioga Region Antique Car Club are possible thanks to community support of the club’s car show at Hickories Park in Owego. This year’s Tioga Region car show will be held on Aug. 19, 2018.
