Community gearing up for St. Baldrick’s event

This spring, Candor EMS and the American Legion Auxiliary will once again host the St. Baldrick’s Shave-a-Thon to raise money for childhood cancer research. This year’s event will take place on April 8 at the Candor Elementary School.

To get the ball rolling, the team is holding a yard sale on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Candor High School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. 

The team is accepting items in good, sellable condition. If you have items to donate, please drop them off at the high school on Friday, Feb. 23 between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
