On Jan. 10, the Local Emergency Planning Committee met to discuss ways to improve disaster preparedness in Tioga County. Mike Simmons, Emergency Services director, facilitated the meeting.
The members included local and state businesses, government organizations and non-profits. The group meets bi-monthly to collaborate, train, and improve emergency response capabilities.
