On Sunday, Jan. 21, the Candor Free Library will host Art Splash from 1 to 3 p.m. Local artist Johanna Husband presents the workshop, and this month will focus on drawing.
It’s a fun art space for all ages from eight to 108, though children under 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
To register, call (607) 659-7375 or contact the library at (607) 659-7258. A $5 fee covers materials.
On Sunday, Jan. 28, head to the Candor Free Library for an afternoon of “Painting With Sandy” from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The workshop is geared for ages nine and older, and adults are welcome.
Come to the library; pick up a paintbrush, and splash color on canvas. This month’s paintings are inspired by cold and ice – watch out for penguins!
Register in person or by calling the library at (607) 659-7258 or call (607) 659-4166.
The workshops are free, and are sponsored by the BOOKS Program and Senator Fred Akshar.
