Everyone that attended the breakfast enjoyed seeing the Grinch, and getting a photo or two.
On Sunday, the volunteers at the Candor Fire Department held their annual “Breakfast with the Grinch” at the station located in Candor. And despite his reputation, the young children arriving were rather fond of the Grinch, and were requesting photos and time with him.
For the breakfast, a full buffet was cooked up by volunteer firefighters, and featured West Candor Maple Syrup and pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, coffee and orange juice. There was even some syrup available for purchase.
They also had several items for sale to include t-shirts and mini fire extinguishers. The breakfast was free, but donations were accepted at the door.
