This year marks the Ti-Ahwaga Community Player’s (TCP’s) 16th annual production of the stage adaptation of the classic holiday film, A Christmas Story. TCP will team with the Tioga County Toys for Tots effort to bring some holiday cheer to local children in need.
As part of this effort, Ti-Ahwaga Community Players will receive donations of toys through Dec. 17 at its playhouse, located at 42 Delphine St. in Owego. Donations can be dropped off between noon and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Donations will also be accepted during all performances of A Christmas Story, which will run Dec. 8-10 and 15-17.
Whether you will be watching this holiday classic or just visiting the area, consider dropping off a donation as they join with Toys for Tots on their mission to ensure that as many children as possible, in Tioga County, wake up to a toy on Christmas morning.
