Holiday Parade taking place in Candor

Candor’s 3rd Annual Holiday Parade will be stepping off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 from McCarty Street, and then by the village ball field and carnival grounds. The parade will head south on Main Street, across the bridge and turning right onto Del Ray Avenue, turning left onto Foundry Street, and then ending at Allen Memorial Baptist Church.

Santa will be coming to town by horse drawn wagon, and keep your eyes peeled for the Grinch as well! Refreshments will be served after the parade, and there will be a donation box if anyone is so inclined to help the cause.

The organizers are still looking for floats, music, and participants.

The Sons of the American Legion proudly sponsors this parade with a lot of help from their friends.

Where are refreshments and pictures with Santa at the church?

    • They do not specify this clearly. On their Facebook Page it states the same, that things conclude at the church. This is most likely where the events are taking place following the parade.
