The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce and Tioga County Sheriff’s Department are hosting an Active Shooter Seminar on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the multipurpose room of the Public Safety Building located at 103 Corporate Dr. in Owego.
In light of recent events, they thought it was necessary to help to prepare the community for situations beyond our control. This seminar will be a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events. They want you to know what to do, how to respond, what to avoid and what to expect in this scenario.
The session is limited to the first 25 registrants. Additional sessions will be scheduled if needed.
