Known for their homemade ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, cakes and traditional ice cream shop offerings, Ice Cream Works! is holding their fifth annual free ice cream to costumed children on Halloween, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Ice Cream Works! is located in the former Kies Bottling Works on George Street in Owego. Mr. Kies was known for his generosity and community spirit. Every Halloween, he gave soda to local children from his bottling works and Ice Cream Works! honors his tradition.
