Finger Lakes Finn to hold dish to pass luncheon and program

On Sunday, Oct. 15, the Finger Lakes Finns (FLF) will have one of its own members, Richard Ahola, give a report about Finlandia Foundation National (FFN).

As a local chapter, FLF pays a small dues fee and in return is eligible for funding from FFN to bring Finnish cultural programs to our area. This year, in celebration of Finland’s 100 years of Independence, the Finger Lakes Finns has hosted special monthly programs and events to recognize this important event in history.

The public is invited to the Newfield Fire Station for a pass-a-dish luncheon at 1 p.m., followed by the meeting and program.

Guests should bring a dish to pass and table service.
