Lucas Vineyards to feature New York State’s best Dry Riesling at their 20th Annual German Festival

Lucas Vineyards will be holding their 20th Annual German Festival on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at their vineyards located at 3682 County Road 150 in Interlaken, N.Y. 

During the festival, their Dry Riesling will be featured. The Lucas Vineyards 2015 Dry Riesling rolled its way to the top with a double gold medal before ultimately being crowned as the best Dry Riesling in New York at the New York Wine and Food Classic competition. At the same competition, the 2015 Semi-Dry Riesling and the Skillet Road Single Vineyard Riesling Reserve were awarded gold medals. All three of the wines were grown and crafted at Lucas Vineyards and are currently available for sale.

Other activities will include live music by The Enzian Bavarian Band and Dancers, grape stomping, grape pies, German food and more. This event will be held rain or shine (under the tents).  There is a $5 cover charge, 12 and under are free. Wine and food will be available for purchase.
