Want to learn about transportation options available to you as a Tioga County, N.Y. resident or business? Want to share information about your transportation needs or possible solutions?
Come to a presentation on transportation options in Tioga County by Andy Fagan, director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, on Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Hubbard Auditorium in Owego. The presentation will take place from 7:45 to 9 p.m.
Through a mobility management grant from the Rural Heath Network of South Central NY, Andy has been working with the Tioga County Transportation Committee to complete an inventory of transportation options.
At the workshop, you will learn about transportation options and resources available to Tioga County residents – the “Getthere” Call Center; “Connection to Care” assistance; Travel Training; and new travel innovations underway. In addition, you will also have an opportunity to share transportation needs and suggest transportation solutions.
