The Owego Free Academy (OFA) Pep Band, under the direction of new OFA band director, Nick Olesko, is opening its membership to all residents of Apalachin and Owego, and to all OFA graduates.
The mission of the band is to get their fans and team fired up with fun and exciting music in the stands, and entertain the audience at halftime with a mixture of current hits and classic favorites.
The Pep Band will rehearse in the OFA band room on the Thursday and Friday before each home game, however it is not mandatory to attend all rehearsals or games.
The Pep Band will provide mellophones, baritones, trombones, sousaphones and percussion instruments, as well as music and flip folders. Other instruments are available upon request on a limited basis.
