Gardening program planned

Gardening program planned

If you love working with plants around your home and have a desire to learn more about horticulture, then joining the Master Gardener training program might be for you.

By joining this group of plant lovers, you will learn more about the art and science of growing plants, meet new people, and give back to your community.

If you don’t think you have what it takes to be a Master Gardener, you don’t have to worry. This training guides you as you begin your Master Gardener career. The only requirement is that you are passionate about growing plants and helping people.

The Master Gardeners welcome everyone to join in, from new growers to old timers, regardless of your activity level or physical ability.

To start the program or for more information, call or email Barb Neal at (607) 687-4020 or email to ban1@cornell.edu

This year’s training starts in a few weeks. Much of the training is done at your own pace, so you can have a full time job and still become a Master Gardener.
