Chronic Disease Management Workshop offered

Do you, or a loved one you care for, have a chronic health condition? Join Tioga Opportunities for a series of Chronic Disease Management workshops that are being offered this fall at the Countryside Community Center, located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego.

Topics to be discussed will include arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, chronic pain and much more. The workshops will be held every Thursday from Sept. 14 through Oct. 26, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The program is free to the public, but registration is required. Contact the Rural Health Network at (607) 692-7669 to reserve your seat by Sept. 1, 2017. With your registration, you will receive a relaxation CD, a book titled Living a Healthy Life, as well as healthy snacks during each session.
