The Newark Valley Fire Auxiliary recently held a fundraiser by raffling off a quilt donated by the Valley Quilters. The auxiliary sold over 1,000 tickets.
On Aug. 12, and during the annual Newark Valley Days event, the auxiliary held their quilt drawing at 1 p.m.
Joel Krapf was the winner of the quilt, and second and third place cash winners were Joan Graciano and Linda Lloyd.
